From The Pastor's Desk

Wet Clay

Children are ready to be molded and shaped into the people that God desires them to be. The Lord is the potter and we are the clay. Many adults are like hardened clay. We need a large dose of the water of the Holy Spirit before God is able to shape us. Children however are like wet clay. They are easily molded and shaped. The question is what form will they take.

As children's ministers we have a very special role. We need to ensure that we don't misshape the children in our care but that we mould them in a way that is pleasing to God. Thankfully He is the potter at work not us, but He does work through. Will the children under your care end up the same as the adults over them, or will they be shaped to be more like the bride of Christ than the generation that went before them? Such is our responsibility.

A New Heart, A New Vision

God is changing the hearts and mindsets of children's leaders worldwide. Limits are being removed from children's ministry and God is being sought. Many children's ministers have been wishing to see the children step out into the fullness of all that God has for them but have been unsure as to how to lead the way (or even if it is there job to do so!).

With the launch of this new website my desire is that it will be a tool for you to develop in your understanding of children's ministry in general as well as children's ministry within the context of the G12 vision.

This site has also been designed as a forum for you to share what God is doing with you. As we share together we can be mutually encouraged in all that God is doing and desiring to do through us and among us.

May God bless you as you surf this site.
